Hailing from Papua New Guinea, the worlds' most linguistically and socially diverse locale, the JCDS: Journal of Communication and Development Studies (formerly titled the JLCS: Journal of Language and Communication Studies (ISSN 1992-1322) is published twice a year (June and January) by the Department of Communication and Development Studies at the Papua New Guinea University of Technology.
