Timber & Forestry Training College (TFTC)
TFTC provides a wide range of training for the primary and secondary sectors of the timber industry. Training programs include saw doctoring, wood machining, sawmill maintenance and operation, timber seasoning, wood preservation, timber and log grading, chainsaw operation and maintenance, machine operator training. TFTC can accommodate up to 120 students at any one time.

Bulolo Forestry College
(BUC) provides Diploma level training for students wishing to be engaged as practical forest managers in government agencies and timber industry companies. This is a three & year course. Department of Forestry (FDUT) offers a four. Year course of professional studies designed to produce foresters capable of meeting the professional needs of all stakeholder employers within the forest sector.

Lae Unitech Nursing School
Lae school of Nursing is one of the oldest nursing schools in the country which has produced many nurses. Lae School of Nursing is progressively working towards educating and graduating competent, confident and professional nurses for our country. Diploma General Nurse program is a three year course offered by them.
